Steves Fear The Beard (30) Cake

So my hubs turned 30 this weekend.. I couldn't figure out WHAT to do for his cake. Then I thought hmm, he loves the San Franciscos players BEARD, and he loves HIS beard- so I googled some beard cakes.

 I ended up with what I called the "triple threat" three layers of chocolate. The center was brownie :) and the buttercream frosting was to die for. Of course I became super over it once the cake was ready to be decorated and so it turned out ok.... but sloppy. Story of my life.
