Rocco’s CARS 3rd Birthday Cake

Lightening McQueen Cars Birthday Cake.
Roccos 3rd Birthday Cake

PAPA's 50th Birthday! Honda GOLDWING Birthday Cake

When you father in love LOVES Honda motorcycles, but every motorcycle Cake online is a Harley. You improvise. I had to draw it out to scale the entire motorcycle, then cut each piece of fondant to connect with some buttercream. We did a triple fudge chocolate cake with a milk chocolate buttercream. I covered with a bittersweet chocolate ganache. Come to mama.
I was concerned with it being too rich, but it was a chocolate lovers paradise.

HOT WHEELS CAKE: Rocco’s 4th Birthday Cake

Rocco wanted a HOT WHEELS Birthday.
I tried with much coaxing to convince him otherwise, but he was not having it. There is no toy he loves more, than HOT WHEELS! So although every hot wheels cake looked difficult, I decided to just try my best and hey- he's 4- this isn’t a cable TV cake contest. We did a ITALIAN Butter Cream with a yellow cake. The top is all fondant and the track is made from GUM PASTE. I had to add red to make the orange darker and more like the official hot wheel color. I had a riot and so did he when he woke up and saw it.

Jojo Bow Birthday Cake

JoJo BOW Birthday Cake. Stella’s 6th Birthday JOJO Cake.

First we did a funfetti type vanilla cake and piped French buttercream between the layers. Covered with a crumb coat. Then covered with a teal layer of butter cream. Created the BOW. And placed it on the cake the following morning. VIOLA. Success- my daughter was OVER THE MOON.

What a birthday it was. It was the same weekend as the DADDY DAUGHTER dance. We also had a little birthday get together with the family AND went to MEDEVIL TIMES. Stella has asked for years to go. Everytime we pass it on the highway, she would say, "I want to go to that castle!" It was FUN turning 6. Oh I almost forgot- and Stella got her ears pierced! A Birthday to never forget!
